Greetings and welcome to CML Connection™ - Phoenix!
My name is Barb Stanley (pictured at right with husband, Bill) and I am fortunate to serve as the Arizona representative for the society. When I was first diagnosed, I wanted to connect with people who had been in my shoes. I was afraid and just needed reassurance. I went online and received good information but I needed people face to face. I have since traveled to California to meet people, to the Midwest and also connected with many by phone.
When approached to help facilitate a support group in the Phoenix metro area, I jumped at the chance. I have found such strength and hope in meeting people who are on the same journey as I am. Come and join us! We welcome all patients and their carers!!
We are better together than we are alone!!

Barb and Sandy with the Proclamation declaring 9/22 CML Awareness Day in Arizona. We are so proud of the work our Arizona team is doing! The congressional resolution calls for ALL states to follow in proclaiming the day. To date, Arizona and Alabama have done so and Pennsylvania may be next!
